AOM 1: How Money Affects Behavior and Greed
Behavior and money play hand in hand. Behavior is directly affect by money. When you are quite poor and don't have a lot of money, you behave in a very different way then those who are rich and wealthy. The poorer you are, the harder you have to work to achieve the same thing as a richer person can. With money, comes power, and with that greed and often, not incredibly smart purchases. When someone is given a lot of money without having to do much they get greedy. For example, winning the lottery, they are more likely to spend a lot of their winnings on designer clothes and other things they could never afford, rather than spending it on their businesses. This behavior turns into greed and jealously when they run out of their winnings, they turn to greed of having that money back. This greed is also shown in rich people when they get their paycheck of over a million dollars per year and they want more. Humans have a need to have the most power. People with a lot of money have the most power in societies. Money comes with power, and power makes people greedy and the need for more power than everyone else, makes people do stupid things and make stupid decisions.
