Judging by the fact that this article is BBC, a non-american source, I personally do not believe this to be an opinion piece.

The main reason Donald Trump is currently finding issues with impeachment is all according to the accusations of him communicating with Ukraine to help boost his chances of getting reelected in the 2020 elections. He is currently impeached, but has not been removed from office, the trial is in fact still in motion as of the time I am writing this.

The main offense was the coercing of Ukraine to assist Donald Trump by revealing information on Joe Biden. He was dangling the potential cutting of military funding to Ukraine, $400,000,000 in total of military aid was threatened to be withheld. This of course was crazy illegal, and was not allowed in the slightest. Another minor offense by Trump was the possibility that he had inhibited congress by refusing any inquiry.

Trump's defense attempts include: calling the impeachment a witch hunt, denying all claims toward him vehemently, and saying that his call with the Ukrainian president went "perfect". An interview was hosted with the leader of Ukraine, in which, according to the republicans, the president felt no pressure, they were unaware of the aid being held back, and that the aid was eventually released anyway.

Jorge Larach 5/20/20 GPHC Coronavirus and issues of Development and Power  I read two articles:  Why Rich Countries must Protect Developing Nations from Coronavirus Pandemic How is the United Nations responding to the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) / COVID-19 outbreak?
