Interdependence
1. UN organization
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) promotes international understanding and mutual knowledge through all forms of mass communication. In July this year the India-UN fund and UNESCO supported Togo in reducing poverty through green economy initiatives. The whole idea is to develop sustainably and create more green jobs. The members living within these communities in Togo are receiving training in jobs such as fish or mushroom farming. This project launched on July 19th with the help of many: Togo Minister of Environment, Sustainable Development and Nature Conservation, Professor David Wonou Oladokoun, and many more.
2. IGO
The EU is a good example of an intergovernmental organization. IGO's such as the EU have the power to make rules and exercise their power within their member countries, their global impact continues to increase. In recent news, we are learning that the unemployment rate within the European Union has dropped to its lowest in the past 19 years. That is about 15.4 million people out of work, which is the lowest rate they have recorded since 2000. Hopefully, the unemployment rate continues to decrease.
3. Hybrid IGO
The EU also works as an example of a hybrid IGO. The African Union is an example as well. recently they lifted the suspension off of Sudan. Sundans membership with the AU was suspended in June due to the violent act of a major protest site in Khartoum (their capital). During this period many were killed and there was much debate between the ruling military council and civilian opposition. Their suspension was lifted after the three-month freeze that was placed. This suspension was raised after the removal of their past president Omar al-Bashir.
4. Treaties/ Strategic Alliances
In March of 2019, the United States created a treaty between us and Argentina. It revolved around the sharing of Visa information. The intention of this was to prevent the movement of third-country citizens who seek to enter the Americas without the documentation required by law. Both the United States and Argentina want to support facilities that are legitimizing travel from one to the other. They both came to the conclusion for more border security and enforcement of immigration.
